Multiple Advantages of Non-Main Lamp Design
The combination of multiple light sources in a non-main lamp design can achieve visual extension. At the same time, it can easily create a light and shadow atmosphere in the home, making the home space no longer monotonous and more layered. Moreover, it can get rid of the complicated ceiling, making the whole space look more concise and neat.
Diverse Lighting Modes
- Atmosphere Mode: Turn on the linear lights and spotlights with a color temperature of 3500K and a brightness of 80%.
- Movie-watching Mode: Turn on the linear lights on the TV background wall and spotlights, with a color temperature of 3000K and a brightness of 10%.
- Reading Mode: Turn on the embedded linear lights, magnetic-suction floodlights, and spotlights with a color temperature of 3500K and a brightness of 60%.
- Party Mode: Turn on the linear lights, spotlights, and magnetic-suction floodlights with a color temperature of 4000K and a brightness of 100%.
Analysis of the Layers in Home Lighting Design
Home lighting design is like magic and can be divided into three layers: basic lighting, ambient lighting, and wonderful accent lighting. Imagine in traditional decoration, there is only one ceiling light to illuminate everything. Although the brightness is sufficient, it lacks soul. It’s like a movie without a climax, dull and uninteresting. Non-main lamp design is like injecting life into the space! By dispersedly arranging multiple lamps and using various types of lights, we create a sense of layering as if we were in a natural wonderland.

Careful Selection of Kitchen Lighting
For the color temperature selection in the kitchen, the VIPL Mingtu series 4000K anti-glare downlights are recommended first. The beam angle is 60 degrees, and the color rendering index is 90. The soft light of the downlights makes the kitchen clean and bright. Choose the VIPL M9 series spotlights to achieve the effect of seeing the light but not the lamp, and select a power of 7W. A 3500K single-color-temperature light strip of VIPL should be installed under the hanging cabinet so that there will be no shadows at all when cutting and cooking.

Non – Main Lamp Design Scheme for the Bathroom
The bathroom adopts a non-main lamp design to create a bright and layered bathroom lighting design. The bathroom uses two VIPL 7W 4000K anti-fog and waterproof downlights, one 7W 4000K M9 spotlight, and a Mingtu downlight at the location of the bathroom heater. Place a 4000K light strip in the side groove to achieve a bright effect. Set up a downlight at the position behind where a person stands at the washbasin to illuminate the front of the washbasin and reduce facial shadows.
Place a light strip in the groove below the mirror above the middle of the washbasin to facilitate users to tidy up their appearance, touch up their makeup, and illuminate the washbasin. Use the spotlights above to enhance the overall brightness and make the layers distinct.
