The Importance of Lighting in Office Spaces

As a space where we dedicate a significant portion of our daily lives, lighting plays an indispensable role. It not only influences productivity but also profoundly impacts mood and health. For the reception area, which serves as the face of the enterprise, first impressions are paramount.

Lighting Design for the Reception Area

We propose to utilize a two – color light belt in conjunction with a logo background image wall illuminated by M9 spotlights to wash the wall. Additionally, 36° spotlights will be strategically placed around the ceiling to enhance overall brightness and highlight the corporate image.

Lighting Layout Planning for the Office Area

In the office area, a uniform spacing lighting method will be adopted, complemented by corresponding lattice lamp panels in functional zones to ensure even illumination and minimize visual discomfort.

Lighting Arrangements for the Corridor Area

The corridor area will be equipped with energy – saving bright picture downlights to supplement lighting for passageways.

Multi – functional Lighting Design for the Meeting Room

The meeting room, which serves multiple functions beyond its primary purpose, requires a versatile lighting design that can accommodate different configurations for seamless scene transitions. For instance, during PPT presentations, a point light source from downlights is necessary, while a surface light source from lamp films is suitable for formal meetings; for entertainment activities, the linear light source from light strips provides the best effect.

Lighting Considerations for the Corridor as a Public Area

As a public area connecting various departments, the corridor’s lighting requirements are relatively modest, provided that functional lighting is adequately met.

Lighting in the Staff Rest Area to Create a Comfortable Atmosphere

The staff rest area aims to provide employees with a comfortable environment for relaxation. A mild wall color scheme will create a soothing visual effect, and the lighting design should be gentle and non – dazzling. Embedded downlights with a spacing of 1 – 1.5 meters will maintain consistent ceiling illumination, magnetic track lights will be installed along main routes or key areas, and light strips will outline edges to add depth. Wall lights will be positioned at 1.2 – 1.5 meters on both sides of the wall sofa, and a 15° magnetic suction spotlight will focus on the decorative wall. Light strips will line the ground floor to illuminate.
